About Chalky

Chalky White is a Sussex-based photographer and videographer specialising in travel, events, automotive and commercial photography. Working across the UK and internationally, he creates imagery for tourism boards, PR agencies, editorial publications and brands, with a particular focus on premium travel, luxury brands and high-profile events.

Recent commissions include the Visit USA UK Media Awards and the Summer Affair at The Hurlingham Club, where his photography was used in the official event galleries. His travel photography has also been selected for the media library of an international destination marketing organisation, making his work available to journalists and publishers worldwide. His images have appeared in The Daily Telegraph and Escape magazine.

Chalky has an extensive background in automotive photography and videography, having spent seven years as Visual Content Manager for an AM100 dealer group. His role combined hands-on photography and videography for marketing campaigns with responsibility for overseeing visual content production and coordinating the day-to-day operations of the media team. His work covered prestigious automotive marques including McLaren, Aston Martin, Bentley, Jaguar and Land Rover.

He previously held the position of Head of Marketing within the luxury automotive leisure sector, bringing additional experience in brand development, marketing strategy and creative direction. This background gives him an understanding of both the creative and commercial requirements of a project, from the initial brief through to the finished imagery.

Throughout his career, Chalky has photographed prominent figures from entertainment, sport and business, including Olympians, professional footballers, actors and brand ambassadors at charity galas, industry events and national awards ceremonies.

Based in Sussex and available for commissions throughout the UK and internationally, Chalky works with clients who value professional photography, creative experience and an understanding of how imagery supports their brand.
